About Red Dead Revolver
Red Dead Revolver was initially to be distributed by Capcom, deriving components from their 1985 title Gun. Smoke. Rockstar San Diego, then known as Angel Studios, was acquired by Rockstar Games in November 2002, when the venture was thrown into limbo. Rockstar Games acquired the rights from Capcom and developed it. Changing Odd West’s style to Spaghetti Western allowed engineers to include more viciousness and over-the-top characters. The Wild West of the 1880s took a turn as Nate Harlow and his partner, Griff, discovered gold in an area called Bear Mountain. In memory of the discovery, they begin production of two pistols, each with an impromptu iron cast Scorpion; Nate takes one and Griff takes the other.
