About Pubg System Requirements
With the recent release of PUBG (and PC release in December 2017) on XBOX, you may be wondering if your PC, XBOX, or Mac has what it takes to run.
Fortunately, that question is easy to answer. If you run the game at the lowest settings, PUBG requires a surprisingly low system requirement. If you don’t fix anything for less than 60 frames per second (fps), don’t need to worry because we’ve got you covered. In this article, we will cover the minimum PC, XBOX and Mac system requirements as well as recommend system requirements to ensure that you hit that sweet 60 fps.
PUBG PC Minimum System Requirements
If you are trying to do sports on a budget, all you have to do is to meet the minimum system requirements. According to Steam, the minimum PC system requirements are as follows:
- Operating System: 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10.
- Processor: Intel Core i5-4430 / AMD FX-6300.
- Memory: 8 GB RAM.
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 2GB / AMD Radeon R7 370 2GB.
- DirectX: Version 11.
- Network: Broadband Internet Connection.
- Storage: 30 GB available space.
We found that playing PUBG under minimum PC system requirements, we would be capping on average 40 to 50 FPS, around 70 FPS, and dropping to 25-30 FPS during intense gameplay. Although PUBG will run with this system, games are always better – especially PUBG – when you are able to play with settings that are intended to be played with the game.
PUBG PC Recommended System Requirements
If you want the best chance to have some chicken dinner at home at PUBG, then you need to sport a PC that can provide you with results in terms of graphics and frames. To rock 60 FPS or better in PUBG, we recommend the following PC system requirements:
- Operating System: 64-bit Windows 10.
- Processor: Intel Core i5-6600k / AMD Ryzen 5 1600.
- Memory: 16 GB RAM.
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB / AMD Radeon RX 580 4GB.
- DirectX: Version 11.
- Network: Broadband Internet Connection.
- Storage: 30 GB available space.
With this PC build, we averaged 60–80 fps, maxed out around 100, and hit a minimum of 45 during intense fights.
