About Need for Speed Payback System Requirements

The need for speed payback is around the corner for both the console and the PC. While console players need no consideration of their system specs, PC gamers will need the right hardware to hit the ground running. If you’re sniffing your PC before release, EA has now announced the minimum and recommended specs for the PC version of the game.

On the low end, EA says that you can pull 720p gameplay at 30 frames per second at low settings with an Intel Core i3 6300, 6GB of RAM, and a GeForce GTX 750 Ti (or AMD Radeon HD 7850). They are the absolute minimum required specs, but they are by no means particularly demanding.

In terms of recommended specs, however, things tend to be a bit stagnant. For 1080p at 60 frames per second high settings, EA says that you want an Intel Core i5 4690K with at least 8GB of RAM and NVIDIA GTX 1060 (or AMD Radeon RX 480) graphics. If you want to play at a higher resolution of framerate at higher settings, then you have to experiment with your setup.
