You don’t need chests full of diamonds to build a gaming PC capable of meeting the requirements of the Minecraft system, but the game does have some features available for those with more powerful systems.
To produce a rig that meets Minecraft’s minimum system requirements, you’ll need to add something with at least an Intel Celeron J4105 or AMD FX-4100 processor. Not only that, as you’ll need an Intel HD Graphics 4000 or AMD Radeon R5 graphics card, 4GB of RAM, and 1GB of space on the storage solution of your choice.
If you intend to meet the system requirements recommended by Minecraft, you don’t need to stretch your budget too much. If you upgrade an Intel i7-6500U or AMD A8-6600K should help increase performance, especially when paired with an NVIDIA GeForce 940M or AMD Radeon HD 8570D GPU. You’ll have to double the RAM for 8GB in total.
The major difference between the Minecraft RTX system requirements and the base game can be found in the GPU they ask for. Enjoying ray tracing in Minecraft requires at least an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060, and you cannot use an AMD Radeon card.
